Happy Birthday, Marge Champion!

Happy Birthday to Marge Belcher-Champion. As a young girl, Marge was the instructor assistant at her father's dance studio in Hollywood when a call came in for some movement work at Walt Disney's Studio. That call forever changed Marge's life and launched her extraordinary career of groundbreaking work on stage, screen and television as dancing partner with Gower Champion. Today, Marge is perhaps most beloved for the work she accomplished as a result of that first phone call—as the reference model for Snow White. As we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, isn't it marvelous that we can celebrate the birthday—and landmark work—of dear Marge Champion! BRAVA!!
